The sound quality genuinely surprised me for an all-wood instrument, especially the deeper thump from the bass drum. Assembly took about ten minutes and everything feels solid enough to survive my five-year-old's enthusiastic pounding.

My kid hasn't put this down since it arrived—the fact that it's the first fully wooden drum set we've found makes the sound warmer and less plastic-y than our old one. Perfect for letting them bang out some rhythm without driving me up the wall.

We were a little worried a wooden drum set would sound dull, but the tones are surprisingly crisp and resonant. My daughter loves that she can actually feel the beat through the solid wood shells while she plays along with her favorite songs.
