Switched from plastic bottles because I wanted nothing leaching into the milk, and the natural rubber nipple was an easy transition for my daughter. The wide neck makes night feeds and washing way less of a hassle.
The borosilicate glass has already survived two drops onto tile without a chip, which sold me on it. The wide neck makes washing and scooping formula way less messy than our old narrow bottles, and the rubber nipple feels soft and natural.
